Introduction to Vehicle Wrap Design

The introduction to Vehicle Wrap Design classes are perfect for someone who has a basic understanding of Photoshop and Illustrator and is entering into, or is within their ﬁrst year of working in the large format/vehicle wrap industry. We review common tools and modiﬁer keys for more efficient workﬂows.

Students explore the beneﬁts of a tandem workﬂow using both Photoshop and Illustrator to achieve the best results for the design.
Creative briefs are touched on, explaining why they are needed and how they can help to avoid unnecessary revisions.

Designs are reviewed and discussed among the class with a Q&A session. This class is 3 days.

Intermediate Vehicle Wrap Design

The intermediate classes are geared for someone who has been working in the large format/vehicle wrap industry for more than a year. Working in both Photoshop and Illustrator, we explore best practices when making templates, designing on these custom templates, and ﬁle preparation for ﬁnal printing.

Students will learn how to make their own vehicle template from speciﬁc measurements and photos.
Creative briefs are discussed and conducted for the projects.

Completed designs are reviewed among the class with a Q&A session. This class is 3 days.

Advanced Vehicle Wrap Design

The advanced classes are for someone who has been working in the large format/vehicle wrap industry and wants better insight into ﬂeet graphics where multiple types of vehicles and coverages are used.

Designs are created on multiple vehicles and custom templates in a way that maintains cohesion between the vehicles.
Creative briefs are discussed and conducted for the projects.

Designs are reviewed and there is a Q&A session. This class is 3 days.
