Vehicle Design Wrap

This comprehensive vehicle wrap design course is designed for designers looking to build and advance their skills in the large-format and vehicle wrap industry. Whether you’re in your first year or have experience creating wraps, this class provides the knowledge, techniques, and workflow strategies needed to produce professional, print-ready vehicle wrap designs.

Working in both Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, students will learn how to maximize the strengths of each program through an efficient tandem workflow. The course covers essential tools, shortcuts, modifier keys, template creation, custom vehicle measurements, design best practices, and proper file preparation for production.

A strong emphasis is placed on the creative brief process, teaching students how to gather the right information from clients to reduce revisions, improve communication, speed up approvals, and create more focused, effective designs. Students will also learn how to create custom vehicle templates using measurements and reference photos, allowing them to confidently design for vehicles without relying solely on pre-made templates.

Throughout the course, students will apply what they’ve learned by conducting a creative brief and developing a complete vehicle wrap design. The class concludes with a collaborative design review and Q&A session, where students receive constructive feedback while learning from the work and experiences of their peers.

By the end of the course, students will have a complete understanding of professional vehicle wrap design workflows—from concept and client communication to custom template creation, design execution, and final print-ready file preparation.

Designs are reviewed and discussed among the class with a Q&A session.
